Pane & biscotti day!
Well it's been a long time between blog entries, so I thought I'd share a photo of our wares from making bread & biscuits in a traditional wood-fired oven with my Mum & son.
It looks gorgeous! Wow lots of it! Do tell more :) do you share it around the family? Freeze it? How do you know when the temperature is correct in the oven?
Hi Kyrstie, I've been a bit slack on the blogging front & just saw your comment from months ago! :\ Yes, Mum's bread & bikkies is shared around the family. What we can't eat in a couple of days gets frozen so we can eat it later. Mum has a special thermometer which she puts in the forno (oven) and she also uses newspaper on the floor of the oven to tell if it is too hot or not (too hot the paper burns black)...
